The AFS Policy staff hosted three Congressional briefings in 2015 and two so far in 2016. The 2015 briefings focused on marine fisheries and were held in partnership with NOAA. In 2016, the U.S. Forest Service partnered on a briefing on Advances in Geospatial Tools to Enhance Smart Conservation of Aquatic Ecosystems, and AFS hosted a briefing with the U.S. Geological Survey to debut a special issue of Fisheries on Climate Change Impacts on North American Inland Fishes.
